Features of metal and non-metal pipeline locator with water leak detection function Success TPT-522N
Metal and PVC pipe locator with water leak detection function Success TPT-522N – multifunctional 3 in 1 set:
1. Cable and pipe locator with acoustic sensor
- Use of power transmitter AG-144.1 (7.5...180 W) and an impact device UM-112.
- Protection from redirection to other objects (pipes).
- High location accuracy.
Acoustic method is used to locate metal and non-metal pipelines, when tracing metal pipelines in conditions of high industrial interference, when tracing is difficult (if there are nearby communications, such as pipes, cables, metal objects; industrial interference, such as power lines, railway and tram lines, etc.).
2. Cable and pipe locator with electromagnetic sensor
- Power from 7.5 to 180 W.
- Automatic load adjustment, which allows to send a certain signal power to a random load.
- Alternating sinusoidal current (constant or short-term pulses).
- Performance up to 18 hours when low power is selected.
3. Water leak detector with acoustic sensor
- Sensitive acoustic sensor.
Features of AP-027 receiver
- Advanced digital location receiver.
- Large LCD display with switchable modes.
- Sound output to the built-in speaker and the operator's headphones.
- Vast range of supported frequencies (50 / 100 / 512 / 1024/ 8192 / 32768 Hz, WideBand 50…8600Hz).
- Ability to connect an acoustic sensor (water leak detector / cable flaw detector functions).
- Enclosure protection class IP54 against external influences.
Features of AG-144.1 transmitter
- Choice of output power of the transmitter (from 7,5 up to 180 W).
- Automatic adjustment at the wide range of the load resistance, automatic re-adjustment using the transmitter.
- Long working time from accumulator.
Description of impact device UM-112
It is used for producing the sound impacts on the pipe surface for acoustic tracing of non-metal and metal pipelines. The sound produced with the impact device is spread along the pipeline and, through the ground, picked-up with the acoustic sensor connected to the receiver. After being amplified and filtered in the receiver, the sensor signal is indicated on the screen and transmitted to headphones.
AP-027 operation for utilities tracing
Move to the supposed utility location - an energized cable or a pipe. During the operation there will be information on the screen and sound in the headphones.
- The signal is low on the screen and in the headphones, it means the utility is far away from the operator.
- The closer to the utility the higher is the signal on the screen and the louder is the sound in the headphones.
- The operator is above the utility, the signal is maximum.
- The signal is less, it means the leakage was behind.
Acoustic sensor AD-327 operation for water leaks detection
Move along the pipe to the supposed place of water leakage. During the operation there will be the following indication on the screen:
- The signal is low on the screen and in the headphones, there is no signifi cant noise.
- The closer to the place of leakage the higher is the signal on the screen and the louder is the sound in the headphones.
- The operator is above the place of leakage, the signal is maximum.
- The signal is less, it means the leakage was behind.
Metal and PVC pipe locator with water leak detection function Success TPT-522N is recommended for application in the following industries
- Public utilities.
- Heat and water supply.
- Gas distribution networks.
