As PVC pipes do not conduct electric current, they can’t be detected with conventional electromagnetic cable& pipe locators. That is why we developed metal and non-metal pipeline locator with water leak detection function Success TPT-522N It is using acoustic method in order to detect plastic pipes. If pipe is laying not deeper than 3 meters, it is possible to trace it acoustically within 150 meters. It is possible because of unique Impact device UM-112 which strikes the pipe without damaging it. It helps to create acoustic impact with equal time intervals. This distinguishable noise is transmitted alongside pipe surface and detected by the operator.
